We currently have 145 patterns on I’ve updated the key — intentionally did not use equation editor as some folks are not able to read it. I color coded it for quicker reference to the function types.

Dropbox: Equations KEY. I’m going to leave the key out in the open for now. What students would visit this space.

I hope you’ll let me buy you a beer or two the next time we meet if you point to an equation mistake I’ve made. I’ll drink it all for you if you don’t like beer and get you bratwurst instead. Guess that’ll be the title of this post. You have to admit it’s better than “The Answer Key.”

I’m not too entirely sure about the former part of that statement. I know you.

Shhhhhh. But I’m guessing that you’ll be nearby to help me help someone finish. I can do 1.5 beers now. With bratwurst.

hmmm… pretty soon you’ll be writing clickbait headings for HuffPost, at this rate (I wonder how many foodies clicked on this ;-)

Haha! Bratwurst and beer have been on my mind because I get to go to Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel (Oregon) this weekend!!!

Haha! You crack me up. And you can have my beer and my bratwurst, and I’ll buy because I think I owe you much more than that for all of the work you’ve put into making Visual Patterns so amazing. Thank you!

Want to come to Kansas and present on problem solving? I’ll buy YOU a beer and bratwurst.

Seriously though, my service center is looking to bring in people to present. What would it take? I don’t know if I could make it happen, but I’d do everything in my power…

Thank you for sharing. And for being amazing.

Hi Kara. Thank you for the invite and your kind words. Should we have your people speak to my people? :) I’m afraid I have too much on my plate this school year already. But I’d still love to do it if we make the dates work somehow. Thank you, Kara.

We can make dates work. :) Would fall 2015 work? I will have my people contact your people.

I’m sorry it took me a bit to get back here. It’s been a crazy month!

Now you’re just trying to kill me, April. A case of beer, without good stories and friends to share with, will last me a decade. Thank you!

        Thank you so much!
I’m learning so much from your site! I was looking through your keynote presentation for TMC and discovered so many new blogs/websites that I didn’t know about (I’ve found my first day’s lesson on Cooperative Mathematics :D), and I was inspired to sign up for twitter. Don’t know how to use it yet, but I’m excited :)

Hi! I just happened upon your site and am VERY interested in getting the answer key. However, I clicked on the answer key (dropbox link) and the link didn’t work:(.

Any ideas? I’m a tutor at a high school whose teachers use the site periodically. The answer key would really help me as well as them more effectively teach and tutor students. Thanks so much for all you’ve done!

    Thanks so much.

I can’t find the answer key, and one of your patterns is keeping me awake! How can I access this?

I am a big fan your this site and have pointed many teachers to use these with their students.

Quick Note: This may have been mentioned before, but the 43rd answer from pattern 156 online is incorrect. Looking at the answer key, you have 3n+1 (which I completely agree with), but the 43rd answer presented online is 133 instead of 130 [3(43)+1 = 130].

Just wanted to let you know.
